What Does Ron’s Way Do?
Ron’s Way exists to walk alongside widows in the midst of loss—offering comfort, connection, and practical support when it's needed most.
We know that the journey through widowhood is deeply personal and often lonely. That’s why we step in early and stay present along the way, letting widows know they are not alone.
Our Mission
To provide meaningful support to widows—emotionally, practically, and socially—by building community, offering comfort, and meeting real-life needs.
How We Help
💝 The New Widow Box
Shortly after we hear of a loss, we reach out—either in person or by mail—with a thoughtfully curated New Widow Box. This box includes practical items and personal touches designed to offer encouragement and remind the widow that someone truly “gets it.”
💌 Ongoing Encouragement
We continue walking with each widow throughout their journey by sending handwritten notes, cards, small gifts, and words of hope. It’s a small but meaningful way to say, “You’re seen and remembered.”
🤝 Building Community
We host regular gatherings—like game nights, themed parties, and social events—where widows can connect, build friendships, and feel a sense of belonging.
Our biggest event of the year is our Christmas Party, where every attending widow receives a generous gift basket filled with special items and gift cards.
🛠 Practical Support
We step in to help in real, tangible ways—whether it’s doing yard work, offering rides, or simply being a listening ear. We aim to bridge the gap left by the loss of a spouse, however we can.
🎁Supporting Children
We also assist children of widows during special occasions, such as Mother’s Day and Christmas, helping them shop for gifts to celebrate and honor their moms.
Fueled by Generosity
Ron’s Way is entirely funded by donations. Every act of kindness we extend is made possible by the support of those who believe in our mission. Together, we bring light and comfort to those who need it most.
