What Does Ron’s Way Do?

You may be wondering what Ron’s Way is all about. At its heart, Ron’s Way is here to walk alongside widows in their journey through loss, offering compassion, connection, and support from the very beginning.

Soon after learning of a widow’s loss, we reach out - either in person or by mail with a heartfelt gesture: a “New Widow Box.” This box contains a few practical items, some personal touches, and most importantly, a message that says, “You are not alone—we get it.”

But our care doesn’t stop there. Throughout the widowhood journey, we continue to offer encouragement through handwritten cards, notes, small gifts, and ongoing check-ins.

We also create opportunities for widows to connect with one another and build lasting community. Through events like game nights, gatherings, and our signature Christmas Party, we foster meaningful relationships and shared support.

At our annual Christmas Party, every widow receives a thoughtfully curated gift basket filled with items and gift cards - just one more way we show love during a season that can feel especially lonely.

Ron’s Way also helps in practical ways, whether it's assisting with yard work or simply being a listening ear. We aim to bridge the gap left by loss through friendship and tangible support.

And we don't forget the children. We remember them at Christmas and other times of year as well, and we help kids of widowed parents shop for special gifts on occasions like Mother’s Day or Christmas, helping them still celebrate the people they love.
